How to Care for Viscose

  • Machine wash at 30 degrees (cool wash) on a low-speed spin cycle. Use a mild detergent and add softener if you would like.
  • Wash with similar coloured items to help avoid colour transfer.
  • Reshape while damp to recover the shape as viscose may temporarily shrink when wet. To bring back to shape you can hang to dry using a clothes hanger, and then iron.
  • Do not tumble dry as it can result in shrinkage, air-dry is best for viscose
  • Whilst slightly damp, iron on reverse side of garment. You can also steam to remove any heavy creases and to reshape features such as the collar and cuffs.
  • Avoid using bleach.
  • Viscose can be dry cleaned.
