How to Care for Knitwear

  • Knitwear is best stored flat as it can grow or drop when hung.
  •
  • If your knitwear garment is under 10% wool content:
  • Machine wash at 30 degrees (cool wash) on a delicate cycle. Use a mild detergent if you would like and a low-speed spin cycle.
  • Wash separately.
  • You can tumble dry at a low temperature, but air-dry is best.
  • Iron using a low temperature, if needed.
  • Knitwear can be weakened by chlorine bleach, only non-chlorine bleach should be used if needed.
  • Can be dry cleaned.
  •
  • If your knitwear garment is over 10% wool content:
  • Dry clean only.
